After completing his fellowship training under world-renowned hand surgeon Dr. Kirk Watson, Dr. Ehsan Esmaeili chose Boca Raton as the place to build his practice and serve the community he now proudly calls home. What began as a vision to provide exceptional hand, and upper extremity care has grown into one of South Florida’s most comprehensive orthopedic specialty practices.

Over the years, Dr. Esmaeili has dedicated his career to caring for patients throughout Boca Raton and the surrounding communities, helping thousands of individuals regain function, return to work, and resume the activities they enjoy. His commitment extends beyond surgery alone – he believes that the best patient outcomes come from delivering seamless, comprehensive care under one roof.

Under his leadership, Hand & Ortho has evolved into a fully integrated center focused on the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term care of hand and upper extremity conditions. The practice brings together physicians, therapists, advanced imaging, diagnostics, and support services in a coordinated setting designed around the patient’sme experience. This integrated approach allows patients to receive the highest level of care efficiently, conveniently, and with continuity throughout every stage of treatment.

Dr. Esmaeili’s vision has always been larger than building a successful practice. His goal is to create South Florida’s premier destination for hand and upper extremity care and ultimately establish a nationally recognized center of excellence. That vision continues to move forward with the development of the practice’s new ambulatory surgery center, scheduled to open early next year. Once completed, patients will have access to virtually every aspect of hand and upper extremity care in a single location, creating a truly comprehensive and patient-centered experience.
